What is Drawbridge?
Drawbridge is a secure data file transfer application developed to securely transfer data files to and from advanced manufacturing machines. This technology provides industry-leading security to any hardware file transfer system.
How does Drawbridge work?
Drawbridge certifies and verifies files by creating a secured Proof using an admin's digital signature. The file and its Proof are then uploaded together to our protected Network Area Storage. This provides a known safe location for unsecured machines to access files.
What is Drawbridge's history?
Fathom5's idea for the Drawbridge application started at HACKtheMACHINE 2019, the U.S. Navy's premiere digital experience, where coders were challenged to hack into 3d printers. One particularly devious competitor was able to set one of these printers on fire using nothing more than a malicious print file. This alarming event prompted the U.S. Navy to seek a solution. Drawbridge was created to put battle-tested security between a potential threat and otherwise unsecured machinery.
